2020 Mitsuhiro Arita Art Tour in the U.S.

[update] Last update. All the events after Morikami Museum had cancelled officially.
[update] Due to all the state schools in Florida and Utah was closed, so the events in there were also canceled

Hi all,

Five years ago, I started attending overseas events because there were a lot of requests to meet me, and I also want to introduce myself as an artist. I love to attend comic conventions of course, but in the last a few years, I usually have a long line at my booth, so it’s becoming hard to talk and doing commissions in front of the guests. Also, I think it’s becoming to be hard to come to meet me specially for young people.

So, I started a free event at the educational facilities like libraries. I’m thankful for the organizers in Collective Con and Ocala Comic Con. They always gave me the freedom and help me to do it.

This year, I got a chance to have an art tour in the U.S.
I’m looking forward to see you in your town.

*If you have a question, only Collective Con, Pokemon Salt-Lake City Regional Championships, and Morikami Museum will reply for you. Please note, don’t ask them about other events.
*The schools will make a web page about the event. If you can’t found anything, it means there is no information.

  1. I’m interested in bringing my son to the show in Tampa on March 26. Do you have more information on the timings? Thanks!

    1. It seems a part of the spring festival of the University of South Florida. If you have a question, please ask the University.

      1. I can’t find who to contact. Is there an email address or phone number for the organizer? The website is very big. Thanks again, we are really looking forward to this!

        1. I updated the post.
There is nobody who will answer the individual questions. You have to be patient until each facility will make an announcement and it is everything I can say.

  2. Hello I am coming to Salt Lake City to meet mitsuhiro Arita!!! I want to know if you have to buy tickets to enter the convention!
Also is he selling tickets for a meet and greet to see him, or is it a free meet and greet, and he will be charging for autographs only??
I’m used to conventions selling out fast especially towards meet and greets so if you guys are going to be selling tickets to meet him I would like to know where I could buy it!

  3. I apologize for asking this question, I want to attend the event at FIU and I want to get one of my favorite cards autographed but I don’t like having my name on it, is it possible to get it without my name on it? Can’t wait to meet you regardless.

    Thank you!

    1. If your purpose is just get a sign, the events at schools and museum are not for you.

      1. Ah ok, I thought we could get an autograph too. I will still attend though, as I really enjoy learning about drawings. Have a good day!

  4. You could, but I can’t promise it. Also, you must accept the personalization. There is no exception.

    1. It’s okay, I won’t bring anything to get signed. I’ll just ask a lot questions haha Can’t wait for the event.

  5. Hey Mr Arita !
For the SLC regionals ,on the 4th and 5th, are you doing autographs and sketch as well? And where can you buy a ticket to enter the facility if so? I’m new to this and I really want to go since Utah is the closest state I can attend 🙂 any info will help 🙂

  6. Hi, I’m interested in the weber state visit, but I can’t find any more info about it and it’s not listed on the university’s calendar either. Is there a place that I can find more information than just the date?

    1. I heard they are in the Spring Holidays but they will announce after it. Please be patient.

  7. Greetings! I am currently unsure of your attendance status for the 2021 Collective Con. I understand covid is still a concern, however, with Florida’s lenient state covid policies was wondering if you were attending this year’s event. Happy new year!
