– Live Demonstration: Basically, it’s free admission.

August 26th ITAGAKI！ Live Drwaing on Rare Wood

Place：Kyoto・SHIKI second site vera city house
Date：Aug 26th 2024 open at 9 am (1-2hours)

The Shiki Limited Company, which has been involved in activities ranging from mountain logging and lumbering to construction since the Meiji Era, has changed its business and is now running the Shiki Café SHIHKI. This café hosts lively events, including live drawings using fine wood, in front of Tamamizu Station in Ide-cho, Kyoto Prefecture.

The company continues to sell rare wood today. The event will be held at SHIKI’s second site, Veracity House, which is attached to a gallery of rare woods, including South Sea timbers that are so rare they cannot be sawed through.

There will also be sales of original products by Mitsuhiro Arita.
Please note that no autograph requests will be accepted.
